I am a mother of two boys and a bonus mom to one boy. Two 13-year-olds and a 5-year-old boy. They keep me busy along with my fiancé and 5-month-old French puppy, Bruno. I graduated from North Carolina Central University (NCCU) with a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Law Enforcement and Human Behavior. I then later went on to pursue my MBA at South University in High Point, NC.  I completed almost a full year and then switched to studying my MSW which I am still pursuing. I have the heart for families and I also love numbers and investigation, so it is no question that I love what I do here and the encounters I get to have while serving families and our practice.  As it relates directly to my role here, I have well over 10 years of experience with benefits, billing and management combined.  In my free time, I cherish quiet moments to read, write, or spend time with my family. I also run my own LLC, which focuses on mental health, youth, motivation, and community. Giving back to the community is important to me, and I often volunteer at local drives, shelters, and churches. Lastly, I love taking road trips to try out new restaurants, dessert cafes, and food trucks. It's one of my favorite things to do, I'll worry about my figure later!
