Tammy Lewis SLP

Tammy graduated from North Carolina State University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.  She then earned a Master of Education degree in Communication Disorders from North Carolina Central University in 1993.  Tammy has experience working with toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children in a variety of settings.  She has a wide range of therapeutic experience that includes evaluating and treating children with a wide range of diagnoses and disorders, including but not limited to autism spectrum disorder, Down Syndrome, cleft lip/palate, childhood apraxia of speech, Cerebral Palsy, receptive and expressive language disorders, motor speech disorders, articulation and phonology disorders, and developmental delays.  She also has experience providing augmentative and alternative communication services (AAC) for children through the implementation of a variety of communication systems including low tech systems and high-tech voice output devices.  Tammy has one son who is 23 years old.  She enjoys spending time with her son, swimming and working in her flower garden.
