       Lisa has had a passion for working children from a young age, volunteering in her mother’s special education class throughout high school and volunteering with a local non-profit for children and adults with developmental disabilities. She discovered her passion for occupational therapy during her undergraduate studies at Pacific Lutheran University, where she double majored in Kinesiology and German in with minors in Religion and Biology. Lisa was privileged to work as a nanny to four children for several years before moving to NC to pursue graduate school. Lisa received her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Winston-Salem State University in 2022 and has been working at Propel ever since. She loves working with kids of all ages and empowering children and their family members to be the best they can be. In her free time, she enjoys baking, quilting, hiking, knitting, and spending time with her husband (Ben) and dog (Buddy).
