Angela was born in Maryland and spent much of her childhood in the Susquehanna River before moving to Virginia in high school. It was there that she discovered her heart for working with children while volunteering in her mom’s special education classroom — an experience that sparked a lifelong passion for supporting kids and their families. She initially began college studying police science, but life had other beautiful plans when she became a mom to her oldest daughter. Angela went on to spend 10 years working in the oil and propane industry as office staff, where she developed strong organizational and communication skills. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she earned her CNA certification in both Virginia and North Carolina, continuing her commitment to caring for others. At Propel Pediatric Therapy, Angela loves seeing the kids each day and assisting in their individual therapy sessions. Whether she’s dancing down the hallway, singing a silly song, or being a total goofball just to earn a giggle, she believes connection and laughter are powerful parts of healing and growth. Angela is a proud wife to her husband, Josh, and mom to two daughters, Lily and Lottie. She has a passion for swimming and fishing, is a devoted animal lover, and spends her free time hiking, reading, crafting, crocheting, tending to her chickens, and embracing all things spooky. At home, you’ll also find her with her dachshund, Scout, and her bunny, Waffles — who keep life just as lively as the clinic does. What she loves most about Propel Pediatric Therapy is that it truly feels like a home away from home. The dedication to the community and the genuine love and support shown to every family make it a special place to be. If you hear laughter coming down the hallway, there’s a good chance Angela is nearby — probably mid-dance move.
