Amber Shaw ORT/L
Master of Occupational Therapy

Amber received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science Pre-Professional from Appalachian State University in 2014 and her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Lenoir Rhyne University in 2016. After receiving her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, Amber began working in an outpatient setting and, after a couple of years, began providing services in early intervention setting. Amber believes in working with her families to collaborate, which includes helping them learn new techniques to better their child’s ability to be successful in their natural environment and develop skills for the child to become as independent as they can be. Amber has worked with a variety of diagnoses, including but not limited to: Developmental Delay, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Genetic Abnormalities, Dysphagia, Cerebral Palsy, and Sensory Processing Concerns. Amber has been working with Propel Pediatric Therapy since April 2020.
