Amelia graduated from Winston-Salem State University in 2017 with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. Prior to OT school, she graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and minor in Psychology. Amelia has clinical experience working in hospital-based outpatient pediatrics and acute care at a Level 1 pediatric trauma center, where she has honed her skills in working with children and adolescents facing developmental delays, traumatic brain injury,  orthopedic conditions, burns, stroke and other neurological conditions, cancer, sensory processing disorders, genetic disorders, and other physical disabilities. Outside of work, Amelia enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
